NTPC Sipat Stage-III (1×800 MW) Project EPC Contract Safety Control Room was inaugurated by Shri Vijay Krishna Pandey, ED, Sipat.
The Safety Control Room is an integrated facility to monitor safety aspects and act on safety issues in real time for Stage-III project activities, equipped with 25 IP PTZ cameras featuring advanced functions like video analytics and an announcement system, and 5 ANPR cameras (for speed detection) installed around the Stage-III area and integrated with the Safety Control Room.
Shri V K Pandey, ED, Sipat, congratulated and appreciated the NTPC Project Team and BHEL Team. The inauguration programme was organised in the august presence of Shri S K Mandal, CGM (Project); Shri Surojit Sinha, GM (O&M); and Shri Ashok Sarkar, GM (Operation).
HODs of various departments, project team members, BHEL PD, along with the BHEL team, were also present on the occasion.
During the event, Shri S K Mandal, CGM (Project), on behalf of the project team, asserted that 24×7 manning and functioning of the Safety Control Room shall be ensured to maintain total safety in the Stage-III area.
