The much-awaited “SECL Summer Camp 2026”, organized by South Eastern Coalfields Limited for the children of employees, was inaugurated today in an enthusiastic and vibrant atmosphere at SECL Headquarters, Bilaspur. The camp was formally inaugurated by SECL Director (Human Resources), Mr. Biranchi Das, through the ceremonial lighting of the lamp.
The inaugural ceremony was held at DAV Public School, SECL Vasant Vihar, Bilaspur, marking the commencement of the 21-day summer camp based on the theme “21 Days of Fun, Fitness & Learning”. The camp will be organized across various operational areas of SECL from 18 May 2026 to 10 June 2026.
The occasion witnessed the gracious presence of Heads of Departments from SECL Headquarters, representatives of the JCC, Welfare Committee, SC/ST Council, and CISTEA/OBC Association.
Addressing the gathering, Director (HR) Mr. Biranchi Das stated that such initiatives play an important role in enhancing children’s personality development, self-confidence, and creative abilities. He encouraged children to actively participate not only in academics but also in sports, arts, culture, and innovation-driven activities.
During the summer camp, children will participate in a wide range of activities including fitness and sports, arts and crafts, music, dance, creative workshops, robotics, personality development sessions, and several educational and recreational activities. The camp aims to provide an excellent platform for children to nurture their talents, learn new skills, and develop teamwork and leadership qualities.
The inaugural programme reflected tremendous enthusiasm and energy among the children. The colourful and inspiring atmosphere filled the entire परिसर with positivity and joy.
