As a part of the ongoing Swachhta Pakhwada 2025 , NTPC Solapur organized a special event to honor and appreciate the tireless efforts of its housekeeping staff by distributing hygiene kits.
The gesture aimed to promote personal hygiene while acknowledging the vital role housekeeping workers play in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across the plant and township.
The event was organized under the chairmanship of Sh B J C Sastry, ED (Solapur) who emphasized upon sustaining a clean and healthy work environment. Sh Sastry also applauded the contribution of the frontline workers and expressed his gratitude.
Sh M K Baby, GM(O&M) also addressed the gathering and motivated the team with the broader objectives of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and NTPC’s commitment to corporate social responsibility.
NTPC Solapur heading forward with one of its unique initiatives, “Own Your Own Area” declared top three OYO zones as an awareness campaign. The top three OYO zones were CHP, Operation and Central stores departments’.
In the township area, Smt Padma Sastry, President (Srijana Mahila Mandal) led the campaign by distributing the Hygiene Kits to housekeeping personnel working in the said area. The senior members of Srijana Mahila Mandal were also present on the occasion.
As the Swachhta Pakhwada continues, NTPC Solapur reaffirms its dedication to creating a culture of cleanliness, sustainability, and mutual respect across all levels of its workforce.
