On Thursday Ajay Kumar Jaiswal, a 2008-batch officer of the Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME), assumed charge as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL).

Before joining NCL, he was serving as Director /Vigilance (Mech) at RDSO, Lucknow.
An Engineering Graduate from IIT (BHU), Varanasi, Ajay Kumar Jaiswal has also done Post Graduation in Public Administration from IIPA, New Delhi.
