CMPDI : Study to analyze High speed Diesel Consumption Patterns

With an aim to standardize High speed Diesel (HSD) usage, reduce pilferage, contributing to better efficiency and resource management at MCL, a team from CMPDI, RI-IV, Nagpur, visited four major mines of Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd. (MCL) to study the HSD consumption patterns.

The focus was on analyzing HSD consumption across major HEMMs in these mines.

MCL has entrusted CMPDI to conduct this study, which is the first of its kind undertaken by CMPDI.

The team conducted studies at the Sambleshwari OC Mine (12 Mty), Hingula OC Mine (15 Mty), Lingaraj OC Mine (16 Mty) and Ananta OC Mine (15 Mty).
