The Coal Employees Forum met with the BCCL CMD and discussed issues related to retired coal workers. Coal Employees Forum officials also met with the Director of Human Resources. Forum President Biman Mitra stated that discussions with the CMD and Director of Human Resources were positive, and consensus was reached on several issues.
The following issues were discussed:
- Formation of PRB cell with contact number and email id of officer concerned ( one window for submission of any grievances/issues).
- Issuance of PVC medical cards.
- Release of payment against medical bills within 45days on submission of Claim- Agreed to look into the matter.
- Cashless treatment as indoor patient at any Empanelled Hospitals- The issue would be discussed with D(HR)/ CIL.
- OPD treatment under any non Empanelled Hospitals where no Empanelled Hospitals are available in the town or city- will take action if any order is received from CIL authority.
- Increase of Fixed amount against OPD treatment under CPRMS-NE- suggested to take up with appropriate authority.
- Settlement of widow Pension- Concerned officials have been advised to share all such cases to Coal Employees Forum, so that the issue can be settled in consultation with Regional Commissioner CMPFO Dhanbad-I & Dhanbad- II
- Issuance of Revised PPO as per order of Addl Commissioner CMPFO Dhanbad vide his letter no 576 dated 14.9.23 addressed to all Regional Commissioners to generate Revised PPO to those retired from April 2023′ – D(HR) BCCL desired that order and suggested to implement the decision in consultation with Regional Commissioner Dhanbad-I & Dhanbad- II.
- Lastly requested to allot CMPF number to Sri Sachin Chattopadhyay former CGM posted at BCCL since 1975 and retired wef 30.11.2001 from CIL, as all such 32 cases were alloted CMPF number and started monthly CMPS pension ( who were transferred from CCWO to BCCL).
