As part of the welfare activities, the Maitri Mahila Samiti, in collaboration with NTPC Korba, organized a distribution event for students of the Satranga School and the Korai Primary School. A total of 120 students from Satranga School and 19 students from Korai Primary School received school bags and raincoats.
The event was attended by the President, Maitri Mahila Samiti (MMS), Smt. Madhumati Rao, Vice-President, MMS, Smt. Mamta Mohanty along with other team members of the committee and the CSR Team of NTPC Korba.
On this occasion, Tarpaulins were also distributed to the 50 families in Pahadi Korba. This welfare measure was another among the vast gamut of activities to help the families in Pahadi Korba providing them with much-needed support and assistance.
These peripheral development activities demonstrate the commitment and dedication of the Maitri Mahila Samiti, NTPC Korba, and the CSR Team to support education and provide needy assistance to the communities in various ways. The CSR team of NTPC Korba firmly believes to extend beyond Corporate Philanthropy.
