A talent search camp is being organized by NTPC Korba CSR to promote archery as part of corporate social responsibility. This camp will be conducted in four different areas of the Korba district: Devpahari, Satranga, Ajagrbahar, and Sonpuri, each for a week.
Approximately 200 boys and girls from various secondary and high schools participated in this program, receiving guidance to enhance their skills in this ancient sport.
During the archery camp, Mr Bharat Yadav, a national archery player, trained students and provided guidance about the nuances of the game.
On the closing occasion of the camp on 10.08.2023, the outstanding performing players were awarded medals. In this closing ceremony, CSR officials of NTPC Korba, school teachers, and villagers were present.
The objective of this camp is to develop the skills and talents of the youth and empower talented outstanding sportspersons under corporate social responsibility through this talent search camp.
