Eastern Coalfields Limited offers 50 new appointments

During this event HR Managers from Areas along with executives and staff from Areas and HQ were also present.

Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL) reaffirmed its commitment to employee welfare by offering 50 new appointments during a special ceremony held at the Sankalp Hall, ECL headquarter on 04th July, 2025.

Out of the 50 appointments, 38 appointments were provided under the R&R Policy while the remaining 12 relates to Dependent Employment Scheme under NCWA.

The event was graced by Director (Finance), Md. Anzar Alam, Director (Technical/Operations) Shri Niladri Roy, Chief Vigilance Officer Smt. Deepti Patel, Director (HR) Shri Gunjan Kumar Sinha and Director (Technical/P&P) Shri Girish Gopinathan Nair.

All Functional Directors along with CVO, ECL motivated the appointees to carry out their responsibilities with dedication and integrity.

Providing dependent employment under the National Coal Wage Agreement (NCWA) has been a longstanding tradition at Coal India Limited (CIL) and ECL.

This initiative aims to support the families of deceased employees, easing their hardships while reinforcing the company’s dedication to its employees and their well-being.
