Launch of Third Phase of Occupational Health Survey for Core Mining Workers at ECL

The third phase of the Occupational Health Survey for core mining workers at ECL, focusing on respiratory and hearing impairment, is currently underway.

ICMR-NIOH, Ahmedabad, is conducting the survey at Sanctoria Hospital, ECL. The inauguration event was led by Nilendu Kumar Singh, DT(P&P), ECL in the presence of Sri Mrityunjay Kumar, GM (Env&F), Dr. Sangeeta Tiwari, CMS, Dr. Abhijit Biswas, CMO(I/C)SH, along with other senior officials.

The survey aims to cover workers in Sodepur, Mugma, Salanpur, SP Mines, and Rajmhal Areas of ECL, with approximately 740 participants actively taking part.
