Himanshu Jain, a 2007 batch Indian Railway Service officer, currently serving as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) at SECL assumes additional charge of CVO, MCL. Prior to this, he has also served as CVO, NCL.
Shri Jain is an NIT Raipur gold medalist in Electronics & Telecommunications and IIT Bombay postgraduate. He has led key railway infrastructure and signaling projects and held senior roles in Indian railway services including DGM, CPRO, and Secretary to GM.
He has been honored with several prestigious awards, including the National Railway Award in 2016, the Director General’s Medal at National Academy of Indian Railways in 2019, and the General Manager’s Award in 2012 and 2022.
Shri Jain is committed to driving transparency through the ‘DigiCOAL’ initiative, showcased at the CVC National Workshop. We look forward to his visionary leadership in ensuring energy security to the nation.
