The three-day Inter Coal India Limited Volleyball Tournament 2025, organized by CMPDI at CMPDI Sports Ground, Ranchi, concluded successfully today.
Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) clinched the title by defeating Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL) by 3-1 (28-26, 25-18, 24-26, 25-20) in a thrilling final. Kunal Sharma of ECL was adjudged Man of the Tournament.
Vinay Ranjan (HR), CIL, praised CMPDI for seamlessly organizing both the men’s tournament and women’s match. In his speech, he said, “These events not only motivate our colleagues to uplift their fitness and skills but also inspire everyone to uphold exemplary sportsmanship and unity across the Coal India family.”
Shankar Nagachari, D(T/CRD); Rajeev Kumar Sinha, D(T/ES); Nripendra Nath, D(T/RD&T); Pankaj Kumar, CVO, CMPDI & CCL; Chaudhari Shiv Raj Singh, OSD, CMPDI, along with other distinguished guests, graced the occasion. Winner and runner-up teams were felicitated with trophies and awards.
