The first 800 MW unit of the Patratu Super Thermal Power Phase-I Project successfully achieved synchronization at 09:14 AM on March 11, 2025, marking a momentous milestone in the project’s journey.

The event was graced by CEO (PVUNL), Sh. R K Singh; GM (O&M), Sh. Devdeep Bose; GM (Project), Sh. Anupam Mukherjee; GM (Maintenance), Sh. Manish Khetrapal; and other senior PVUNL officials. From BHEL, Project Director, Sh. Suman Mishra; Construction Manager, Sh. Swarup Chattopadhyay; and other senior officials were also present to witness this significant achievement.

On this occasion, CEO (PVUNL) Sh. R K Singh lauded the relentless efforts and dedication of the PVUNL and BHEL teams in overcoming challenges and making this achievement possible. He emphasized that this milestone is a crucial step in fulfilling the energy aspirations of Jharkhand and the nation.
