SECL CMD Harish Duhan represented South Eastern Coalfields Limited during the study visit meeting of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Coal, Mines and Steel chaired by Chairperson Shri Anurag Singh Thakur, held in Hyderabad on Thursday.
Director (Technical) Project & Planning, Shri Ramesh Chandra Mohapatra, was also present during the study visit.
The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Coal, Mines and Steel, led by Shri Anurag Singh Thakur, undertook a study visit to Siliguri, Gangtok and Hyderabad from 4th to 8th May 2026 as part of its scheduled engagements related to the coal, mines and steel sectors.
During the interaction, various sectoral issues and matters concerning the coal industry were discussed in the presence of senior officials and representatives of concerned organisations.
