Four Doctors of WCL, Dr Neogi from Hqrs; Dr Karthik from Chandrapur, Dr Ritesh Kale from Umrer and Dr Suryanarayana from Wani North have been trained on Occupational Health at Central Labour Institute Mumbai, AFIH.
They have done thesis on Pnemoconiosis NIHL CONTACT DERMATITIS ERGONOMICS & MUSCULOSKELETAL DISORDER IN MINERS respectively.
The Doctors have submitted their thesis to WCL management. CMD, WCL Manoj Kumar, D (P), WCL Dr. Sanjay Kumar, D (T/OP) J P Swivedi, D (T / P&P) A K Singh appreciated the efforts.
Further to utilise expertise and experience of these doctors WCL intends to start surveillance with screening for betterment of WCL employees and to know the comorbidities in them.
