Mihir Lal Das who has recently taken charge as Commandant of the 1st Battalion, Tripura State Rifles (TSR) deployed at Kusmunda and other areas of SECL, paid a courtesy visit to SECL Headquarters, Bilaspur on 12 March 2026.
During the visit, he met Biranchi Das, Director (HR), SECL, and discussed matters related to security coordination in SECL operational areas.
Later, Mihir Lal Das also met Himanshu Jain, Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO), SECL, where discussions were held on strengthening security measures in SECL areas.
During the meeting, the CVO emphasized the effective utilization of technological tools provided by SECL to further strengthen surveillance and curb incidents of theft with the support of TSR personnel.
During the meetings SECL Chief of Security Lt. Cdr. V Dakshniamoorthy was also present.
Mihir Lal Das has earlier served as Superintendent of Police in two districts of Tripura and was conferred the Best Police Award in 2019. He also has extensive experience in handling cybercrime cases in the state.
