Korba, 06 March : BALCO has been awarded with тАЬGlobal Road Safety Award 2023тАЭ under тАЬGold CategoryтАЭ, by The Energy and Environment Foundation for the first time. It has been recognized for its outstanding efforts put forth in the pursuit of Zero Harm and Road Safety Initiatives.
The initiatives include elimination of vehicle reversing points in various areas, development of 2 centers for continuous Defensive Driving Training of drivers, and introduction of evolved systems for physical inspection of vehicles for complying with Vedanta Standards.
On this National Safety Day, BALCO emphasizes on the importance of safety measures by raising awareness around it.
