Rourkela, 17 June : An awareness programme on Goods and Services Tax was organised at HRD Centre of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant on 15th and 16th June. S K Nayak, CGM (F&A) and S Mallick, GM (Tech тАУDIC Secretariat) interacted with the participants on different days and provided their valuable inputs.
Around 80 Billing Officers and those associated with Contract and Supply Management across the plant attended the session.
Biswajit Pal, Manager (F&A) conducted the session where he dealt with various DoтАЩs and DontтАЩs pertaining to GST compliance. The objective was to understand the concept and make contracts free of error in terms of GST application in various context.
The programme was jointly coordinated by Finance and Accounts Department and Contract Cell Works Department.
