MCL signs to promote digital education 

In the August presence Satish Chandra Dubey, MoS Coal & Mines, GoI, MCL has signed four MsOU with District Administration of Jharsuguda, Sambalpur and Sundargarh districts of Odisha and EdCIL Ltd for promotion of digital education in schools.

As a CSR initiative, MCL will fund Rs 17.03 crore to establish:

• 500 smart classrooms in Sambalpur, Jharsuguda and Sundargarh districts.
• 30 science STEM labs in Jharsuguda district.

These initiatives aim to bridge the digital divide and bring cutting edge educational technology to the Govt. Schools of Odisha.
