A review meeting with the Mine Developer and Operators (MDOs) was held to review the progress of MDO Projects of SECL today at the Company Headquarters, Bilaspur, under the chairmanship of Sh. Harish Duhan, CMD, SECL.
During the meeting, progress of key 06 MDO projects viz. Anjan Hill UG (25.75 MT) and Bartunga UG (39.90 MT) of Chirmiri Area, Kalyani UG (3 MT) and Madannagar OC (234.38 MT) of Bhatgaon Area, Ketki UG (12 MT) of Bishrampur Area,
and Pelma OC (219.14 MT) of Raigarh Area — were extensively reviewed with the respective contracted companies.
Critical aspects like financing agreements, mine plans, environmental & forest clearances and other statutory requirements were discussed in the meeting along with many other issues, including land and R&R.
Director (Technical) Sh. N. Franklin Jayakumar and HoDs from concerned departments also attended the meeting.
MDOs as well as the concerned SECL’s Officials were directed to expedite the activities for early operationalization of the projects.
