Coal India signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indian Port Rail & Ropeway Corporation Limited (IPRCL), to develop rail infrastructure projects for Coal India and its subsidiaries, from concept to commissioning.
The MoU was signed by CIL Director (Technical), Achuyut Ghatak and Anang Pal Malik, Director (Works), IPRCL, at Corporate Office in Kolkata, in the presence of senior officials from both organizations.
This partnership aims to leverage IPRCL’s technical expertise to conceptualize, plan, design, and execute rail infrastructure projects that will significantly improve coal evacuation and transportation for Coal India and its subsidiaries.
