We, in association with Swaniti Initiative, organised a ‘Workshop on Economic Diversification and Skilling for Just Transition in India’ at our corporate office in Kolkata.
On this occasion, Chairman P.M. Prasad launched Swaniti Initiative’s upcoming report on “Economic Diversification of Coal Communities: Case Studies from US and India” authored by Ian Barlow, Dr. Sandeep Pai, Rishi Kishore and Deeksha Pande.
The report focuses on six case studies from the US and India, highlighting the scale and type of coal dependencies in these regions, and explores potential options for economic diversification in the future.
Director (P&IR) Vinay Ranjan, Director (Technical), Dr. B. Veera Reddy, Director (Marketing) Mukesh Choudhary, and Director (Finance) Mukesh Agrawal were present on the occasion.
