On 25th July 2025, Achyut Ghatak, Director (Technical), Coal India Limited, visited SECL’s Gevra project, accompanied by N. Franklin Jayakumar, Director (Technical) Operations & P&P, SECL and Rajasekhar Kinnera, Executive Director (Corporate Planning & Project Monitoring), CIL.
During the visit, Shri Ghatak reviewed key operational and planning aspects including land possession issues at Raliya and Naraibodh, diversion road development at Naraibodh, and strategies to achieve the 63 MT production target through patch-wise OB removal and coal extraction.
Discussions also focused on RLOS operations, the Laxman Circuit, equipment efficiency and utilisation, and the pumping plan in view of the current monsoon season.
