Coal Minister Kishan Reddy chairs review meeting at ECL

Union Minister of Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy chaired a comprehensive review meeting on June 21, 2025, at the Jhanjra Area Office, ECL.

The meeting focused on evaluating ECL’s performance in production, dispatch, safety and other key operational areas for the previous financial year.

During the review, the Minister emphasized the need for integrating eco-friendly practices and adopting sustainable mining technologies to ensure environmental conservation.

He also provided strategic guidance aimed at enhancing ECL’s operational efficiency and driving long-term growth.

Shri Reddy’s directives reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to strengthening India’s energy security while promoting responsible and sustainable mining.
