Kolkata | Industrial Punch : Secretary, Ministry of Coal Vikram Dev Dutt chaired a review meeting in Kolkata to assess the progress of various reform initiatives undertaken by Coal India Limited (CIL).
The initiatives are focused on strengthening operational performance, improving efficiency and driving excellence across the organization. Coal India has declared the current year as the “Year of Reform and Transform”, highlighting its focus on institutional and operational transformation.
Five Digital Platforms Launched
During the meeting, Vikram Dev Dutt launched a series of digital portals and dashboards aimed at strengthening employee welfare and customer-centric services.
The platforms launched include:
- CIL MedEX Portal
- CIL Swasth Portal
- Third-Party Sampling Agreement Portal
- Landed Price Dashboard
- Consumer Portal
These digital initiatives are expected to support more streamlined services, improve transparency and enhance the overall user experience for employees and consumers.
Senior Coal India Leadership Participated
The meeting was attended by Coal India Chairman B. Sairam, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Coal Sanjeev Kumar Kassi, Director (Marketing & HR – Additional Charge) Mukesh Choudhary, Director (Finance) Mukesh Agrawal, Director (Technical) Achyut Ghatak, Director (Business Development) Asheesh Kumar, CVO Brajesh Kumar Tripathy, CMDs of Coal India’s subsidiaries and other senior executives.
The review underlines Coal India’s focus on reform, digital transformation, operational efficiency and stakeholder-centric services as the company moves forward with its “Year of Reform and Transform” agenda.
