SCCL: Singareni Chairman and MD Dr Buddaprakash Jyoti said that there will be some disruption to coal production during the monsoon, but taking into account the state’s electricity needs, enough coal will be provided to the state’s thermal power plants.

Singareni company supplies around 28 million tonnes of coal annually to thermal power plants in the state. Tlu Singa Reni directors have explained that 60 to 70 thousand tonnes of coal is being transported daily. CMD has clarified that Telangana electricity needs should not be disrupted. They have made it clear that there is no compromise in the matter of coal quality.
