SECL CMD Harish Duhan visited the Dipka Mega Project on 22nd June, 2025 to review ongoing mining operations, infrastructure efficiency, and monsoon preparedness.

Shri Duhan visited the KCC contractual patch, where he noted that sufficient land is now available to enhance both overburden (OB) removal and coal production.

He directed the concerned teams to scale up operations in alignment with the available resources and operational readiness.

At the departmental patch, he reviewed the utilisation of HEMM. Emphasising the importance of optimal asset usage, he instructed teams to explore ways to further increase HEMM efficiency and availability, which are crucial for meeting production targets.

Inspecting the Truck Receiving Station (TRS), Shri Duhan evaluated the coal dispatch mechanism. He laid special focus on enhancing the operational efficiency of TRS to ensure seamless and faster dispatch of coal, which plays a vital role in improving overall output and customer satisfaction.

As part of monsoon readiness, Shri Duhan conducted a detailed review of sump capacity, dewatering arrangements, and other critical pumping infrastructure. He stressed the need for robust monsoon preparedness to ensure uninterrupted operations and safety during the rainy season.

The CMD appreciated the efforts of the field teams and encouraged them to maintain high standards of performance, safety, and coordination to meet the company’s strategic goals.
