The foundation stone laying ceremony for the upcoming Centralized Warehouse of BEML was held today in Bilaspur. Shri Harish Duhan, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, SECL graced the occasion as the special guest.
Also present on the occasion were Shri Shantanu Roy, CMD, BEML; Shri Anil Jerath, Director (Finance), BEML; and Shri Sanjay Som, Director (Mining & Construction), BEML.
The Centralized Warehouse is being developed to ensure timely availability of critical spare parts to customers within 24–48 hours.
The facility will feature fully digitalized, bar code–based inventory management for real-time and precise material handling.
BEML is a vital business partner of SECL, supplying indigenous Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM) that plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth mining operations.
