CIL Organises Stakeholders’ meet on MDO Revenue sharing Projects on Discontinued Mines

CIL subsidiaries have awarded 20 MDO contracts for discontinued/closed mines on revenue sharing basis

Coal India organized a Stakeholders’ Meet to create awareness among stakeholders regarding potential of abandoned/closed/discontinued mines under MDO revenue sharing model.

P.M. Prasad, Chairman, Coal India, in his inaugural speech, said that CIL is engaging Mine Operators on a ‘revenue sharing basis’ for discontinued/closed mines with sufficient mineable reserves. He further stated that so far, CIL subsidiaries have awarded 20 MDO contracts for discontinued/closed mines on revenue sharing basis.

Chairman Coal India, along with senior officials, connected with the stakeholders virtually from Coal India’s corporate office in Kolkata. CMDs of CIL subsidiaries also attended the Meet virtually.
