On the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, a grand celebration was held at NTPC Korba.
The entire premises were filled with an atmosphere of devotion and enthusiasm. The festival commenced with great pomp, featuring the installation of the idol of Lord Ganesha.
The chief guest of the ceremony was Business Unit Head, Shri Rajeev Khanna, who performed the worship and rituals of Lord Ganpati Bappa according to ancient traditions and scriptures.
Following the inauguration, a grand Aarti and Puja were held in the evening. Additionally, a beautiful dance performance was presented by the Bal Bhawan, which mesmerized all the devotees. This year, Ganeshotsav will be celebrated with great enthusiasm from September 7, 2024, to September 9, 2024.
The event saw participation from General Managers, departmental heads, employees, and their families, which infused the entire atmosphere with devotion and excitement. At the end of the program, Prasad was distributed, allowing all devotees to enjoy the blessings of Lord Ganesha.
This festival celebrates Lord Ganesha as the deity of new beginnings, the remover of obstacles, and the god of wisdom and intelligence.
