Under the Asset Optimisation Initiative, 11 nos. of 100-tonne capacity dumpers are being transferred from Mahanadi Coalfields Limited to Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL).
In this sequence, the first three dumpers were successfully commissioned and deployed at Jayant Project on 1 March 2026.
On the occasion of the flag-off ceremony, the Area General Manager, Jayant Project; General Manager (Excavation)/HOD, NCL; along with senior officials of the Project and Gmmco Ltd. were present.
The induction of these high-capacity dumpers will further strengthen NCL’s equipment fleet and significantly enhance coal production in a safe and efficient manner.
