Newly Elected CMOAI SECL Branch Office Bearers Take Oath

Bilaspur, 27 June 2026: The oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected office bearers of the Coal Mines Officers’ Association of India (CMOAI), SECL Branch, was held on Saturday at Vasant Club, Vasant Vihar, SECL.

The ceremony was graced by Shri Biranchi Das, Director (Human Resources), SECL, who attended as the Chief Guest. In his address, Shri Das congratulated the newly elected team and expressed confidence that the new executive committee would work with dedication to protect the interests of officers while contributing meaningfully to the continued growth and progress of both the Association and South Eastern Coalfields Limited.

The following office bearers formally took the oath of office:

  • Shri Ashish Tyagi – President
  • Shri Tilak Raj – Vice President
  • Shri Ajay Pandit – Vice President
  • Shri Alok Khullar – General Secretary
  • Dr. Anu Neha – Joint General Secretary
  • Dr. Sumit Krishnan – Joint General Secretary
  • Shri Anup Rahate – Treasurer
  • Shri Ajay Gupta – Joint Treasurer

The ceremony marked the formal commencement of the new executive committee’s tenure following the successful completion of the election process. Polling for the CMOAI SECL Branch elections was conducted at the SECL Headquarters on 6 June 2026 and across various SECL Areas on 7 June 2026, with the results officially declared on 8 June 2026.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of SECL officers and members of CMOAI, reflecting the Association’s unity and commitment to strengthening professional collaboration and addressing officers’ concerns.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks and a collective resolve to work towards the welfare of officers and the sustainable development of SECL.
