OIL completes beta demo of hydrogen powered bus

New Delhi : Oil India Limited (OIL) completes beta demo of hydrogen powered bus developed under its Startup programme, SNEH.

After the 99.999% pure Green Hydrogen plant in Jorhat, this is another major step towards zero-emission mobility within OIL & also in the North-East India.

The 9-meter bus is built on a 60kW PEM Fuel Cell engine & will power the electric drive providing for a minimum range of 450 km while emitting water in the exhaust.

It is intended to be used in Kaziranga Green Tourism by the end of this year.
