Ranchi : Subrat Kumar Dash has assumed charge as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NTPC Mining Limited (NML), the coal mining subsidiary of NTPC Limited.
An Electrical Engineer by profession, Dash joined NTPC in 1989 as an Executive Trainee and brings with him nearly 37 years of rich experience in the power and energy sector. During his distinguished career, he has held several key leadership positions across NTPC’s thermal power, project execution, operations, maintenance, and mining businesses.
Known for his strong technical expertise and strategic leadership, Dash has played a significant role in enhancing operational excellence, improving efficiency, and driving the successful execution of major projects within the NTPC Group.
As CEO of NTPC Mining Limited, he is expected to further strengthen the company’s coal mining operations, accelerate ongoing mining projects, and contribute to ensuring a reliable fuel supply for NTPC’s power generation capacity. His leadership is also expected to support the company’s focus on operational efficiency, sustainable mining practices, and long-term growth.
NTPC Mining Limited is responsible for developing and operating captive coal mines to meet the fuel requirements of NTPC’s thermal power stations, playing a crucial role in the nation’s energy security.
