UltraTech’s current green energy portfolio comprises 1,580 MW of renewable energy capacity and 444 MW of Waste Heat Recovery System capacity.

Together, these green energy assets now meet approximately 48% of the company’s total operational power requirements.

Focus on Renewable Energy and Waste Heat Recovery

The commissioning of the new wind capacity in Rajasthan and WHRS capacity in Karnataka marks another step in UltraTech’s strategy to increase the use of cleaner and more sustainable sources of energy across its manufacturing operations.

The company’s growing green energy portfolio combines renewable power generation with waste heat recovery, helping increase the share of captive green power in its overall energy consumption.

UltraTech’s Green Energy Footprint Expands

With its installed green energy capacity now at 2,024 MW, UltraTech has further strengthened its position in the cement sector’s transition toward cleaner energy sources.

The company is continuing to expand renewable energy and waste heat recovery capacity as part of its broader focus on improving energy efficiency and reducing the environmental impact of cement manufacturing.
