Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) has handed over 825 vessels for food distribution to Akshaya Patra Foundation for the NGO’s Bellary kitchen today as part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities.
Vinay Kumar Katyal, Director (Bangalore Complex), B P Pahuja, GM (ES), and other senior officers of BEL and members of Akshaya Patra Foundation were present.
BEL has supported Akshay Patra Foundation’s Mid-day Meal scheme in the past by donating food distribution vans with essential food containers for their kitchens located in Mangalgiri in Andhra Pradesh and Vrindavan in Uttar Pradesh.
