Chairman Coal India inaugurated a seed ball machine at Barora Area

P. M. Prasad, Chairman, Coal India, inaugurated a seed ball machine at Barora Area of Coal India subsidiary, BCCL. Samiran Dutta, CMD BCCL was present on the occasion.

Coal India subsidiary BCCL is utilising seed ball technology in overburden dumps and mined-out areas to establish a natural eco-system.

Fruit trees such Guava, Amla, Jamun, Papaya, Fig, Kaju, and Ber, as well as native trees like Neem, Mohuguni, Moringa, Karanj, Peepal, Bargad, Shisham, Molshree, Babul, Rakt Sinduri, Kher, and Bamboo, would be grown using nearly one crore seed balls.
