Coal India subsidiary, Eastern Coalfields commences (ECL) production at Itapara Opencast project twenty one months ahead of the scheduled date of commencement.
The project has a total mineable reserve of 46.02 MTs with peak production expected from the 6th to the 16th year at 3.5 MTY.
