Two teams comprising executives and employees of Cold Rolling Mill of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) were presented with awards under the ‘Utkarsh’ recognition scheme.
Subrat Kumar, CGM (HSM-1, SSM, CRM & Pipe Plant) presented the awards to the employees in a function organised at the HOD Room on 24th August, 2023 in the presence of Gurminder Singh, GM In-charge (CRM) and other senior officers of the department.
Congratulating the employees Mr Kumar appreciated the enterprising efforts of the team and urged them to continue contributing towards company’s growth and profitability.
One group comprising nine members led by M.K.Sinha, DGM (E&A) was awarded for successful completion of project “Change of PLC of Tandom Mill in CRM.” Similarly the other group comprising three members led by G.R.Reddy, AGM (CRM-Operation) was awarded for the project “Modification of ‘C’ hook of a crane to minimise the damage of coils during handling” which was executed in the shortest possible time.
The programme was coordinated by Mr. Palash Kanti Sarkar, Assistant Manager (Personnel).
