The Executives and employees who superannuated from the Company’s service in August, 2025 were accorded fond farewell at SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant.
In a farewell function organised on 30th August, 2025 at Samadhan Conference Hall, Mr. Tarun Misra, ED (HR) presided over the function and handed over the Service Certificate and Token Gift to Dr. Pradeep Kumar Sahu, GM (HR). Dr. Chinmay Samajdar, CGM (Law), Mr. P K Sahoo, CGM (HR-L&D), Mr. Manas Ranjan Rath, CGM (HR) and several Senior Officers of the Plant attended the function. Ms. Simpi Patel, Deputy Manager (HR-OD) coordinated the function.
In the ED (Works) Office, Mr. Biswaranjan Palai chaired the function and handed over the Service Certificates and token gifts to Mr. Gurminder Singh, GM In-charge (HSM-I) and Mr. Chintamani Mohapatra, GM (MRD). Several Chief General Managers, HODs and other Senior Officers of the Plant attended the function. Short videos on the life journey and professional career of the retiring executives were shown on the occasion.
In a function organized in Civic Centre fond farewell was accorded to 14 employees including executives.
The spouses and other family members of the employees were also present on the occasion. Mr. Manas Ranjan Rath, CGM (HR) was the Chief Guest of the programme and presented gifts and service certificates to the superannuating employees. Mr. S S Saini, GM In-charge (Oxygen Plant) was the Guest of Honour.
Mr. Shiba Prasad Majhi, Ms. Jyoti Oreya, AGM (HR-ER&C) welcomed the gathering and proposed a formal vote of thanks. Mr. Kamla Kant Parida, Labour Inspeector coordinated the Certificate Distribution activity. The programme was coordinated by the HR- ER&C team.
Farewell functions were also organised in various Departments of RSP as well as Odisha Group of Mines to bid adieu to the employees who superannuated after rendering decades of service to the organisation.
