Coal India subsidiary MCL has commissioned a new Coal Handling Plant (CHP) in its Bhubaneswari Area under First Mile Connectivity (FMC) project.
Coal India’s flagship FMC projects are intended to mechanise coal transportation in order to make it more swift and eco-friendly.
The Bhubaneswari CHP has 10 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) coal handing capacity. Using state-of-the-art high-speed pipe conveyer and automated rapid loading system, this CHP will help in faster coal evacuation.
