NTPC Sipat organized its Annual Vendor Meet 2025 on 29th October 2025, as part of the ongoing Vigilance Awareness Week.
The event, hosted by the C&M Department, brought together a diverse group of vendors including local suppliers, PAP vendors, and representatives from major organizations such as BHEL, GE, and others from across the country.
The event commenced with the inauguration ceremony by Shri Vijay Krishna Pandey, Head of Project and Executive Director (Sipat), who addressed the gathering and expressed his enthusiasm about the event.
He emphasized that the Vendor Meet stands as a testament to NTPC Sipat’s commitment to fostering strong partnerships and creating a collaborative environment that promotes innovation and contributes to project excellence.
He also highlighted several initiatives undertaken to expedite the tendering and payment processes and stressed the importance of following ethical business practices. On this occasion, he also administered the Integrity Pledge to all participants, aligning with the theme of Vigilance Awareness Week.
Presentations were delivered by the C&M Department, outlining upcoming business opportunities, recent enhancements in procurement systems, and NTPC’s initiatives aimed at improving ease of doing business.
The Vendor Payment Group provided insights into the newly implemented Vendor Invoice Management System, detailing its process and benefits. The Vigilance Department encouraged vendors to uphold the highest standards of integrity, highlighting the theme “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility” and the importance of preventive and proactive vigilance.
Additionally, Ms. Anuda Shukla, representative from the Government e-Marketplace (GeM), delivered a presentation on recent developments and enhancements in the GeM Portal, addressing vendor perspectives and facilitating mutual understanding for smoother operations.
The event was attended by Shri Swapan Kumar Mandal (CGM-Project), Shri K V Prasad (GM-RLI & BE), along with HODs, EIC, Vendor Payment Group (Online), and UPL representatives (Online).
The Vendor Meet 2025 concluded on a note of collaboration and transparency, reaffirming NTPC Sipat’s commitment to promoting ethical business practices, strengthening partnerships, and enabling mutual growth with all its valued stakeholders.
