Kolkata, 24th July : The officials of Coal India Pensioners Welfare Association (CIPWA), Kolkata held a meeting with CIL Chairman PM Prasad and officials.
In this meeting, the issues related to pension, medical, gratuity etc. of pensioners were put before the CIL management by the Coal India Pensioners Welfare Association.
Apart from Chairman PM Prasad, CIL Director (Human Resources) Vinay Ranjan, Executive Director (Coordination) Atul Lalit Kumar, General Manager (Human Resources) Gautam Banerjee, General Manager (PRB) Rajarshi Dhar, Ajit Ponanna, Association Executive President Bibek Sengupta, General Secretary Prabir K. Mukherjee, Joint Secretaries S. Chakraborty, SK Sinha and P. Dasgupta, A. Saha and others participated in the meeting.

Association General Secretary Prabir K. Mukherjee said that the Chairman and Director (Human Resources) Coal India listened to the problems of the pensioners patiently and resolved some problems on the spot.
Besides this, he assured to raise the issue of increase in pension and medical treatment before the appropriate authorities for sympathetic consideration.
