Rourkela Steel Plant has bagged 14th Kalinga Safety Excellence Award

SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) has bagged the prestigious 14th Kalinga Safety Excellence Award – 2022 in Platinum category.

In the National Safety Conclave – 2023 organized at Bhubaneswar on 20th December 2023, Atanu Bhowmick, Director In-Charge, Rourkela Steel Plant with addl charge of Bokaro Steel Plant and Asha Kartha, GM Incharge (Safety) received the award.

Besides, the Barsua Iron Ore Mines and Kalta Iron Ore Mines also won individual Kalinga Safety Excellence Awards in Gold category.

Alok Verma, ED (Mines) received the awards. Notably, these awards were presented by the “Institute of Quality and Environment Management Services.”
