New Delhi, 9 July (IndustrialPunch Desk) : Vedanta Oil & Gas senior leadership recently visited the Raageshwari Deep Gas Field in the RJ South block of Rajasthan, one of the company’s key natural gas assets supporting its strategy to expand domestic gas production and strengthen India’s energy security.
The leadership team, comprising Jim Gast, Interim CEO, Ashish Ranjan, Director – RJ South, and Subhadeep Khan, Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), interacted with on-site teams to review operational performance, reinforce safety standards, and discuss production priorities and future growth opportunities.
During the visit, the leaders emphasized the importance of maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence while accelerating natural gas production to support India’s vision of Energy Aatmanirbharta (energy self-reliance).
As part of Vedanta’s commitment to sustainable development, the leadership team also participated in a sapling plantation drive, underlining the company’s focus on environmental stewardship alongside business growth.
The visit also marked a significant workplace milestone, as Vedanta Oil & Gas celebrated being recognized as a Great Place to Work for the seventh consecutive year. Employees and leadership commemorated the achievement with a cake-cutting ceremony followed by an informal interaction, reflecting the company’s continued emphasis on a people-first work culture.
