E. Satya Phani Kumar, Regional Executive Director (WR-II), visited NTPC Lara on 17th July 2025. This marked his maiden visit to the project after assuming the charge of RED (WR-II). He was warmly welcomed by Shri Anil Kumar, Executive Director (NTPC Lara), along with Shri Keshab Chandra Singha Roy, GM (O&M).
During the visit, Shri Phani Kumar toured the Stage-I control room, where he interacted with the shift charge engineers. He also visited the Stage-II safety control room and the construction site, engaging in discussions with officials from BHEL regarding ongoing activities.
Later, he chaired a review meeting with the Site Management Committee (SMC), where key O&M parameters and progress on Stage-II construction activities were deliberated.
Shri Phani Kumar also interacted with representatives from the employees’ union and associations, young executives, and the SC/ST association, fostering open communication and inclusive engagement.
Additionally, he visited the ash dyke area, where he reviewed its condition and discussed the ash utilization process.
