A two-days’ workshop on ‘Corrosion Control and Protection’ was inaugurated by Shri S.K. Sinha, HoP on 17th April, 2023 at NTPC Simhadri.
The objective of the workshop was to share the best practices in Corrosion Prevention in the coastal area industries of Visakhapatnam.
It included special technical sessions through eminent experts from Industries and Academia also.
The workshop was attended by 49 delegates from coastal industries – Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy, HPCL-Visakh Refinery, RINL, Indian Navy, Hindustan Shipyard Limited, Hinduja Power, ISTD, Asian Paints, Saint Gobain, AIMTech, IIPE, AIM Tech, HSL, ISTD, etc,.

From NTPC side Southern region projects like NTECL Vallur, NTPC Kawas and NTPC Simhadri were present.
