Coal India Limited Director (Technical) Achyut Ghatak visited the Gevra Megaproject for a comprehensive review of mining and coal handling operations.
He was accompanied by N. Franklin Jayakumar, Director (Technical–Operations), South Eastern Coalfields Limited.
During the visit, Shri Ghatak inspected both departmental and outsourcing patches, the belt transportation system, and the Coal Handling Plant (CHP), with a focus on operational efficiency, safety, and system reliability.
He also reviewed production, dispatch, and other key functional sections, assessing performance parameters and workflow integration.
