Rajiva Kumar Singh assumed charge as Executive Director (Exploration), CIL on 29.12.2025 and Joined CMPDI, Ranchi.
Prior to this, Shri Singh served in key leadership roles at CMPDIL and acted as the Nodal Officer to the Ministry of Coal for both promotional and detailed exploration projects.
Shri Singh is an alumnus of Science College, Patna, and Patna University, holding a B.Sc. (Hons.) and an M.Sc. in Geology.
Over his career, he has worked across India in geological exploration, resource evaluation, and project planning, contributing significantly to strengthening the country’s coal resource base.
Shri Singh has been closely involved in planning and executing exploration initiatives and implementing modern exploration techniques at national-level projects.
The vast experience of 30 years of Shri Rajiva Kumar Singh is expected to benefit not only CMPDIL but the coal industry as a whole.
