CIL in a new CSR initiative will extend a financial support of Rs. 30 crores to Dr. Aabaji Thattee Seva Aur Anusandhan Sanstha (Trust) , Nagpur for construction of the seventh floor of their National Cancer Institute, Nagpur, Maharashtra.

A MoU to this effect was signed between CIL and Dr. Aabaji Thattee Seva Aur Anusandhan Sanstha in the presence of Vinay Ranjan, Director – P&IR, CIL. While B. Sairam, ED – CD / CSR signed on behalf of CIL, Sailesh Joglekar, Secretary & CEO, National Cancer Institute signed on behalf of Dr. Aabaji Thattee Seva Aur Anusandhan Sanstha.

National Cancer Institute is a quaternary care oncology centre in Nagpur established by Dr. Aabaji Thattee Seva Aur Anusandhan Sanstha (Trust). It will be a 470 bedded comprehensive cancer care centre with expertise in basic, clinical and state of the art world class cancer treatment, when fully functional.
